Domestic Flights Indonesia

Domestic Flights Indonesia

There are only four carriers catering for Domestic Flights Indonesia to Bandung destination from a number of our big main cities with even fewer airways providing services from Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. Apparently Bandung Travel has caught the interest not only local tourists but foreigners as well in quite significant figures.

There are daily international flights to Bandung by Air Asia from Kuala Lumpur as well as Singapore and by Merpati Nusantara Airlines from Singapore to Bandung. Air Asia serves such International Flights twice daily from Malaysia and 4 flights weekly from Singapore.

However Air Asia has recently unveiled their plan to upgrade the existing aircrafts with the 64.5-tonne Airbus 320 new fleet, but need to be postponed as Husein Sastranegara as Bandung’s own International Airport has less runway capacity for the Airbus. The upgrade is important for the carrier to keep its presence with larger passengers carrying fleet. Hence it would not be a surprise for Air Asia considering pulling out from Bandung had it not upgrade its runway by this end of the year.

Gedung Sate

Apart of its Gedung Sate landmark Bandung posses a unique attractive charm, the cool breeze air and shopping activities are amongst other its valuable assets. Despite of its persistent long traffic jam within the city as well as the main road that goes to Bandung from Jakarta, people are kept flocking in regardless.

It is fortunate indeed to have Domestic Flights Indonesia to Bandung for those who like to avoid the headache of busy and punishing Cipularang Toll road. Though the city is such a magnet to tourists it is imperative for the appropriate authorities making an extra effort for better and sustaining improvement in order to reap the benefit of those potential revenues.

The existing Bandung Trendy Lifestyle environment needs to be persistently maintained for the future attractions, if not for those necessary home work which is needed for actual improvements today.

Trendy Porsche Driving

Trendy Porsche Driving

My first sunglasses were the fabulous Porsche Design sunglasses and it came with 2 sets of interchangeable lenses, one set was the recommended pair for night driving. Porsche Design Studio is located at Zell am See district in Austria, the studio since mid 1970s has been churning out dozens of classic men’s accessories such as watches, glasses, lighters and writing utensils. Wenger Porsche Design Genuine Swiss Army Knife

In fact ever since the 911 has been produced the studio also offered personal merchandises associated with the car such as model cars, luggage collections, wallets etc. made of high-quality selected materials and workmanship to the level of clear, uncluttered and functional design language distinctions. A legacy trait which has been carried forward for more than 40 years on the design evolution of the 911 itself with much of the streamline characteristic remains, and some latest model still inherited the famous traditional "bug eye" headlamps. Similar to the original VW beetle it was based upon.

The latest 911 the 997 retains such headlamp style, but technology advancements has made Porsche drop its original air cooled engine altogether with its distinctive rear engine layout. Despite of the new later models the original specs is very much in great demand, some enthusiasts still prefer the air cooled 911 as the most Trendy Porsche Driving to date.

Trendy Porsche Driving Experience...

Due to its distinctive style as well as functional super-car status Porsche has received many prestigious awards, it is famous amongst other super-car as the only “every day super-car”. Whereas Lambo and Ferarri can be faster but for daily drive they are cumbersome, on the contrary most Porsche is equally happy on both highway and city drive.

The brand is a lot more echoing than BMW or even Mercedes Benz serve a perfect life style for those looking at classy status symbol from such German automotive manufacturer of luxury high performance automobiles, it was awarded the title of the most prestigious automobile brand by Luxury Institute, New York; based on hundreds of households with a gross annual income of at least US $200,000 and a net worth of at least US $720,000.

Chip Foose

Chip Foose a legendary Classic Restoration Car Designer

The other day I watched Discovery Turbo; a popular TV program on mainly classic cars, racing and technical restoration. Many car enthusiasts have known outstanding individual, high profile figures who have had established personal achievements in car industry. These are the people who had pioneered phenomenal design and development for certain and in many cases general mass production or old car reproduction for customized order.

One of my favourite segment is a program called "overhaulin". Every showtime it depicts a complete restoration and rebuild of pre 1980s old cars, in fact mostly cars that was produced prior to mid 70s era. All parts are completely stripped off to its bare body and chassis. The rebuild involves replacing those old worn out and outdated parts with brand new the latest technology engine, drive train, brake and suspension system. Very much like MTV's own "Pimp My Ride", only it gets better as the restoration is meticulously designed by none other than the famous Chip Foose.

As the bare body and chassis are being prepared to get rid all the rusted parts, Chip Foose would go about hand draw designing the new look based upon the wishing dream of the overhaulin-victim. By design the car has lingering strong memorabilia attached to it, so transforming such car would stir deep emotion amongst victim's family members. This is the strongest point of overhaulin program, as its climax the victim would hardly recognized his or her newly transformed car.

One of the occasion it depicts a car that was previously father and son project, but was subsequently abandoned due to tragic death of the father. For years the old Chevy Nova had accumulated dust until the rebuilding team did the magic restoration job. The job normally took a week time requiring all team members to work day and nights with only five hours sleep each night. Every aspect of car has its own specialist team, such as body preparation and paint up to interior experts.

What a fabulous tv program to watch a huge 350 chevy into Nova's engine bay or whatever bay it is! Are you interested to apply as the next victim? Wait for the next continuation, since the program was apparently discontinued since last year. Tough Luck! Hmmm may be all team members had suffered insomnia problem...!

You could see the re-run program though and peek at Chip's artistic handdrawn classic car design. And make a comparison to a rare and classic RS500-Cosworth. Chip is certainly one of many American car stylists who is unfortunately could not enjoy his Italian colleague who sets automotive trend setter globally.

This is my own article on LeisureDrive (hit the classic RS500 above) republished here for its highly relevant to Trendy LifeStyle issue.

Automotive trendsetter

Perfect taste define our personal attitude. Prior to any decision making on a purchase we largely consider certain aspects. Aspects which are firmly reflect our own belief, criteria and need. And gradually over the years we would find ourselves accustomed to a distinct purchasing behavior, a habit that dictates the best quality as well as beautiful products.

A good quality product might have been associated with certain regional or country basis. say; a Swiss made cheese (or watches), French wines, New Zealand dairy products, Japanese gadgetry, thrifty Chinese imports, Boeing, Rolls-Royce, IBM, polo and so forth. Yet, quality does not necessarily come with beauty. differentiating the two may resemble the way our brain functions, the left or right hand side. Creating the two factors require distinct discipline.

Italian designers are famous for their trendsetter innovations. Rome is known for the Mecca of fashionable goods, and it has been as such for decades long. similarly for automotive design, Pininfarina has designed great automobiles for well over seven decades long. The design house is now into its third generation with one of the grandson at the helm of publicly trade company.

Does anyone still remember the TV serial of magnum pi? it was played by tom imagesellect as Thomas magnum a rare detective driving fabulous 1973 red Ferrari 365 gt4 bb. What a sensational looking sport car by even today's standard. Now fast forward to 2006 Ferrari P4/5, still in the same color. A sharp contrasting element of theme spanning over 3 decades.

Does it have to be expensive to have a beautiful car design? This red 1966 imageDatsun 411 is one example. At that time Nissan formerly Datsun was unknown car manufacturing, perhaps as much as 2001 Hyundai Matrix also designed by Pininfarina. Other makers are also known to outsource its car design work to Pininfarina. They are; GM 1987 Cadillac Allanté, 1982 Rolls-Royce Camargue, 1963 Chevrolet Corvette rondine, 1961 Austin a40 farina Mk ii, Peugeot (404, 504 cabriolet, 205, 405, 306 cabriolet, 406 coupe), 1999 Mitsubishi Pajero, 2000 Daewoo tacuma and many more.

Fast lane life style does not necessarily limited the ordinary folks to own a Pininfarina designed cars, albeit fast driving on the left most lane on autobahn. There is another Italian designer who involve in auto industry but to a lesser degree; Giugiaro. Looking at their success, perhaps it would not be surprise to find ourselves wearing Gucci silk suit with matching Bally briefcase and shoes.

And for her wearing Anne Klein jeans with matching white pearl oversized sunglasses and white pearl Bally pachina tote. Perfect matching for a perfect taste in our life style episode. Hmm, those nice leather smell and equally tantalizing soft textures would attract envious look!

Perhaps you would rather think this is only suitable for "Bourgeois" class of society only, that is true. Only a fraction of the privileged could afford as such, but at least those who are not fortunate enough would still enjoy looking at the beauty of materialistic goods. For the hard life most of us suffering due to the downturn crisis, we might as well stop day dreaming. Remember the old proverb of " If You Could Dream It, You Could Achieve It"?

Go back to the beginning of this article, the first paragraph; our belief stems out of years of our own thought behaviors. We all have opportunities to access the goodness of life, we deserve perfect quality taste. Those trendsetting designers has been working effortlessly to innovate the things that we could enjoy. A trendsetter that is brave to make new things against the world out of the ordinary. Trend setter which also give a birth to people like the first black President in USA (see between the 1st and 2nd paragraph); "yes we can, yes you can!".

Life Style Trendsetter is not a myth
