It has been yet another wet overnight, whereas during the last few days’ heavy torrential rains accompanied by strong gusty winds hampered our city and run it to the ground with almost 100 counts of street blockages due to fallen trees or stumbled large billboard or else simply flooded road section. Surely enough it is quite a chilly morning when we both get awaken in one of the wards belonging to the oldest Hospital establishment in Central Jakarta.
It is exactly a week that my Dad has been treated for his Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), and it is quite a roller coaster time period that the family has faced with amongst other such as his sudden high fever. Extremely high fever occurrences accompanied by uncontrollable shivering, a situation which any one hates to see, much less to one of our dearest family member.
Early last October our family doctor had been able to make startling diagnosis upon our Dad’s Bone Marrow Biopsy result, yet despite of its wonderfully sounding name the Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) is indeed quite a scary ailment diagnose. It has recently gained more and more attentions as MDS affecting a rising number of patients particularly to those older generations.
The generations of which are highly vulnerable to many free radical induced disorders or believed to be strongly linked to, this free radical has unfortunately played an important role in our technology. It is not however a simple choice to our modern Life Style; you have to completely give up all of the latest gizmos and gadgets as well as living in a complete seclusion to avoid free radical all together.
A choice of which opting for a Trendy Porsche Driving is simply not as dangerous to the life threatening MDS, which subsequently makes most of us or very few of us then is a blessing creature rather. Shall we giving up our iPod, i-Phone and iPad altogether?
